Roma continue contact for Mahrez and have made an offer to Leicester

Roma is continuing to negotiate for Leicester City's Riyad Mahrez, but have not reached an agreement yet. Roma is making their push with the hope that Leicester will lower their asking price of €35m, if Mahrez can be convinced of the move. In the last few days, there has been contact between Roma's sporting director Monchi and Eduardo Macia, who is in charge of player development for the Premier League club and Roma's offer for Mahrez is €22-23m. Even though there is distance between the sides Roma is continuing their push for the player.
