Mario Rui's injury has changed Roma's plans. Spalletti's team need to find a replacement for the left back position. For this reason Roma's men have contacted Inter over the possibility of a Dodo return. The player who was at Sampdoria on loan is now on his way out of Inter and for weeks has looked set to return to Genova. Ferrero's club has never closed the deal after courting the player and now the player could return to the capital instead (where he played from 2012-2014). The method of the transfer has yet to be understood, but the first few contacts have taken place.
