Roma considering the signing of Borna Sosa as backup to Kolarov

While the Politano-Spinazzola swap deal has yet to be completed, Roma are looking to bring in some reinforcements in the defence too. The Giallorossi are especially keen on finding a left-back that could provide cover to Aleksandar Kolarov and the first name on the list is that of Stuttgart 21-year-old Borna Sosa, who was also eyed by Inter and Sampdoria in past transfer windows.

Sporting director Petrachi has set his sights on the Croatian as he has all the characteristics which Roma are looking for: a player with EU-passport, low-priced, and possibly young. Roma are preparing to submit and opening bid to the 2.Bundesliga side in order to add a new player to Paulo Fonseca's squad.
