Roma, Carles Perez arrives in Italy to complete transfer from Barcelona

Roma are ready to welcome a new reinforcement for their attack, as Carles Perez has arrived in Italy to complete his move from Barcelona. On Tuesday, the player was given the green light to travel to Rome after that the two clubs had reached an agreement over a loan deal with obligation to buy - tied to easily achievable conditions - for a total sum of about €12-13 million.

The transfer contract has no buy-back clause, however Barcelona will have the right of first refusal. The talks between clubs have in fact yielded this compromise: Barcelona will have the right to match future offers that Roma should receive for the 21-year old striker.

The Spaniard will now head to Villa Stuart clinic to undergo a medical and then finalize his move to the Giallorossi, becoming Roma's third acquisition in this transfer window after defender Roger Ibanez from Atalanta and midfielder Gonzalo Villar from Elche.
