Roma, Bruno Peres' injury report: bone fractures have been excluded

"We are excluding bone fractures in the left ankle" Roma fans and Spalletti can have a sigh of relief: the possibility of a long Bruno Peres absence has been avoided. The Brazilian full-back had been escorted off the pitch in a stretcher during the first half of last night's Roma-Milan after a contrast with De Sciglio. The Giallorossi let the news break across an announcement on their website:

"Following a contrast, which forced him into leaving the pitch at the 42nd minute of Roma-Milan, Bruno Peres was given an instrumental check-up which displayed he had no bone fractures in his left ankle.

The check up however did display slight distortion trauma and therefore the player will continue to be monitored in the next 24/48 hours to define the prognosis and the adept medical treatment required.
