Roma has not given up on signing Frank Kessie' despite the fact that Milan is pushing to close the deal. After yesterday's meeting between the rossoneri's new director and Atalanta, today Roma also met with the bergamaschi, in fact Monchi and Massara met with Atalanta's president Percassi in the offices of attorneys Tonucci and Partners in Italy's capital- they asked that Atalanta respect their previous agreement while also raising their offer for Kessie's wages, although they have yet to match Milan's offer.

Roma and Atalanta have an agreement for €25 million plus €3 million in bonuses, they raised their offer on the annual wages to €1.8 million annually. Now the ball is back in Milan's court, during yesterday's meeting they did not get into discussing specific figures with Atalanta, but the Ivorian midfielder's agent Atangana is pushing for his client to join Milan.
