Roberto Mancini's interview on Italy and Inter: "I dream about winning a World Cup with the Azzurri. Spalletti's team will finish third"
Zenit coach Roberto Mancini is one of the rumored candidates for the Italy job after the disappointing exclusion of the Azzurri from the next World Cup. "I have a dream: winning a World Cup or Euros with Italy. I never managed to win them when I was a player, so it would be an honour and a pride for me. We have many good young players, like Belotti, Pellegrini, Romagnoli and many others who can keep on growing", said Mancini to La Gazzetta dello Sport. He also discussed Inter current situation: "The current situation is different from when I was Inter's coach. We had many new players, now the players have been playing together for two years. We were at the top of the table at the end of the first round, we needed reinforcements in January but the main focus was on selling players. A club like Inter can't think only about qualifying for Champions League, they need to aim for the Scudetto. I think Spalletti's team will finish third, they're stronger than Lazio and Roma".
