Red Star in talks to sign Valencia defender Piccini: the situation

After his experience in Spain, Cristiano Piccini could be heading to Belgrad. In fact Red Star are pushing to sign the Italian defender, who has struggled to find consistent playing time at Valencia with manager Bordalas.

 Red Star are the only club showing concrete interest in signing Piccini, who will not sign an extension with Valencia once his contract expires at end of the season.

 Last summer, Cagliari had tried to sign the former Atalanta wingback, but the talks never developed. Piccini is now one step closer to joining Red Star.
