PSG, Leonardo:”The negotiations for Neymar are more advanced than before”

While Ligue 1 is kicking off this weekend with the first slate of games, Neymar won’t make his debut when PSG face Nimes tomorrow. The Brazilian striker has been the subject of recent transfer rumors which the French club’s sporting director Leonardo addressed in a recent press conference:”The negotiations for his sale are in a more advanced stage than before”

While manager Tuchel gave an explanation for Neymar’s absence:”He has practiced separately in these last few days because of a lesion and he hasn’t worked with the group. He isn’t ready for tomorrow’s match”
