PSG, Al-Khelaifi:”Full confidence in Leonardo”

After an uneven season that saw them win the League 1 title with an elimination during round of sixteen in the Champions League, Paris St Germain are making changes. The French club hired Leonardo to replace Antero Henrique as sporting director, a decision Nasser Al Khelaifi explained in an interview with France Football:”I realized we needed some changes, if not we wouldn’t have gone anywhere. With Leo the situation was resolved in two minutes. He’ll have full sporting powers. He’s my guy, he’s incredible. I have full confidence in him, his authority will help everyone, especially the players”

Paris St Germain’s chairman has been frustrated with the behavior of some of his stars:”The players must take some responsibility, even more than before. Now everything must be completely different. They’ll have to work harder and do more. And if they don’t agree, the doors will be open. I no longer want them to act as stars”
