Portland Timbers set to approach Giovinco for potential return to MLS

MLS could welcome back Sebastian Giovinco for a second stint after he spent several seasons at Toronto FC before leaving for Saudi Arabia. There's interest in Giovinco from Portland Timbers.

The Timbers are set to make initial contacts with the forward, who is currentrly a free agent after leaving Al-Hilal after his two-year contract expired. Talks for Giovinco could soon materialize into a concrete transfer with Portland.
