Pescara president Sebastiani:"Verratti is very happy in Paris, but I would have preferred selling him to Juventus"

One of the biggest "what ifs" in football has to be Marco Verratti's failed transfer to Juventus. The bianconeri continue to be linked to the PSG midfielder and his former president at Pescara, Sebastiani, discussed his situation in an interview to Tuttosport:"I've remained in touch with Marco, we spoke in the last few days. Trust me: he's very happy in Paris. But Verratti is a true Italian, we are talking about a player that never played in Serie A, he went from Serie B to the Champions League with PSG. I do think he ponders returning to Italy, and if I know him a bit the team he would run to is Juventus. I would have preferred to sell him to Juve, we were very close to that happening. In January of 2012 we had talked about an exchange of co ownership deals with Immobile, then in summer we weren't able to agree on the players in the deal. It wasn't over a lot of money especially if we consider what he's worth now"
