Patrick Kluivert: "Roma is the ideal place for Justin"

Justin Kluivert had immediate impact off the bench in his debut with Roma, providing the assist for Dzeko's match-winning goal against Torino. His father Patrick discussed his son's choice to leave Ajax and join Roma in an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport: "He is a good boy, I am happy with what he is doing. He doesn't talk much but he listens. He is motivated. I wanted him to remain at Ajax one more year, but he made his decision. I think Roma is a good choice for him. Manchester United would have been too much of a leap forward for him. Roma are a big club, but there's less pressure. They don't have to win at all costs and the play good football. It's the ideal place for Justin. Can he become better than me? He has a long way to go before achieving what I achieved, but he has the talent and the personality to have a great career".
