Parma, president Pizzarotti:”Gervinho is worth 20 million”

Parma got off to a great start to the new year with a win in Friuli against Udinese, the newly promoted club now find themselves in nineth place in the standings. The club’s president Pietro Pizzarotti was asked about his team’s success in a recent interview to Rai Radio 1:”We didn’t expect to have a similar season, we just wanted to avoid relegation and that is still our objective. We can be a nuisance, but we’ll keep our feet firmly on the ground”

Pizzarotti was asked about his star player and current coach:”At this moment Gervinho is certainly worth 15-20 million. For us D’Aversa is the best coach on the market, he’s perfect for emerging players and if it were up to me I’d keep him here for ten years. But unfortunately for us, his future will be tied to more important projects because he’s really good”
