Papu Gomez to leave Atalanta for Sevilla: deal completed

The deal for Papu Gomez to Sevilla has been completed. On Tuesday he will be in the Spanish city to undergo medicals. The fee for the  permanent transfer from Atalanta is €5.5m plus €3m in bonuses. The clubs are currently exchanging documentation. Gomez will sign a three and a half year deal through 2024. After 252 matches at Atalanta (59 goals, 71 assists), and inspiring the club to their rise in Serie A, Papu Gomez will move on from the club and from Serie A as he completes his move to Sevilla.
