Palermo now has a new man in charge of the bench. Roberto De Zerbi was tapped over the weekend by Zamparini to replace Ballardini. In his first match, De Zerbi will play against Napoli, and speaking on Radio Kisskiss, Zamparini reacted to that: "I picked De Zerbi because I have always tried to give starts to young coaches, and primarily those with a winning mentality, like with Ventura and Zaccheroni.
