Netherlands sack coach Blind: Grim will take over for Italy match

A loss in World Cup qualifying against Bulgaria has cost Danny Blind his job as Netherlands coach. Two days ahead of a friendly against Italy, Blind has been sacked. His top assistant Fred Grim has been promoted to coach. The statement from the Dutch federation: "The KNVB has decided to dismiss coach Danny Blind after a conversation with football director Jean Paul Decossaux and technical director Hans van Breukelen"
