Netherlands postpones all events through September 1: Eredivisie 2019/20 could be ended early

The Netherlands has announced that professional football will be stopped until September 1. The country's Prime Minister announced that all events, sporting and otherwise, will not take place until the date, noting that the strict ruling was necessary given the current situation. There will be no contemplation of matches behind closed doors: the future of the Eredivisie season will be announced by the federeation, but it is expected that the 2019/20 season will be terminated.
