Napoli-Roma, deal for Mario Rui stalls: the latest

Everything seemed to be set for Mario Rui to reunite with Maurizio Sarri at Napoli, but now the deal has stalled. Roma and the partenopei had agreed to the framework of the deal previously, but a last minute issue with the payment terms has caused issues- Napoli wanted to complete the deal on loan with forced option to buy after one game played while Roma wanted a straight sale.

In the meantime the player has stayed in Rome as he was excused by the summer retreat since the deal was imminent, but now the giallorossi could ask him to join his teammates, a development that Mario Rui isn't pleased with.
