Napoli reach agreement with Verona for Kumbulla and keep pushing to sign Petagna
Napoli have reached an agreement with Hellas Verona for Marash Kumbulla. The €20 million - plus four additional million in bonuses - offer made by De Laurentiis's club has been accepted by Verona. In the next few days, the Partenopei will have a meeting with the player's agents in order to discuss the terms of the Albanian's contract. The centre-back, however, would stay at Verona until the end of the season.
Napoli continue the rebuild porcess that they have already started with the signing of Demme, Lobotka and Rrahmani (who will join the azzurri next season). In this regard, the negotiations with SPAL for striker Andrea Petagna are still ongoing: Napoli had a €22 million bid turned down by the Ferrara-based club, as they consider Petagna a key player in the battle to avoid relegation. Napoli and SPAL are also discussing the possibility of closing the deal now, with the player that would join the Partenopei at the end of the season.
