Napoli, not giving up on Lainer: the situation

Napoli is hot after Sabaly, but they are not stopping there as they continue in their pursuit of Lainer. His current club, Salzburg, do not seem intent on selling the player at the moment. Talks have slowed down in the past few days due to the Austrian club raising its demand for the player because they have yet to find a replacement.

Napoli is insisting, however, and if Salzburg does not want to part with the player now the azzurri are open to the possibility of bringing him to Naples in January. Napoli could possibly close to operations for the player, one for now or one for the winter market.
