Napoli, Gabbiadini's possible destinations include Stoke, Southampton, and Schalke: updates on the transfer situation

Manolo Gabbiadini looks poised to exit Napoli in the January transfer window. Even without Milik who was lost to injury, the Italian was unable to adjust to Sarri's setup and struggled to find space in the team. With the arrival of Pavoletti from Genoa all but confirmed, the striker could soon find himself playing football elsewhere. The options currently in play are Stoke City, Southampton and Schalke 04, but there is also the possibility of Borussia Dortmund. The fee for Gabbiadini could be four around €16-17m, less than the €23m Everton offered in the summer (rejected by Napoli at the time). While the situation around Gabbiadini has caused his fee to drop, there now appear to be other interested bidders around Europe for the striker's services.
