Napoli, Demme:”Gattuso is my idol, it’s a dream come true to be here”

It only took three matches for Diego Demme to become a fan favorite at Napoli. The midfielder born in '91 talked about his first few weeks with the partenopei in a recent interview with Sky Sport:"My start was positive, we won three matches in a row and now we need continuity, but the changes at Napoli aren't just because of me, we train the best we can and we have a lot of quality. I'm truly happy to be part of this group"

Demme was asked about his ties to his new club:"Playing in Italy was always a dream of mine and Napoli are a great club. My father was a Maradona fan and he called me Diego because of him. But my idols were Pirlo and Gattuso, a great couple, one fought and the other created"
