Napoli, De Laurentiis: "Di Lorenzo is a great acquisition. I'll have a big update Monday."
Everyone is in Capri to celebrate the 60th birthday of manager Carlo Ancelotti. And after the words from Gattuso, Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis spoke to Sky Sport.
"Sarri to Juventus? It would be fun for me if so, but I could never say if he's truly going there or not. There's Agnelli, he needs to choose. This year in Serie A many benches are changing: Milan, Roma, Fiorentina, maybe Lazio with Simone Inzaghi. Him to Juve if Sarri doesn't go? Who can say?".
Someone who doesn't change, though, is De Laurentiis, who is committed to Ancelotti. "I am a monogamist. I've always said that if I find a coach who is appropriate for the project of growth, I'd hold onto him tightly."
De Laurentiis also spoke on Di Lorenzo, their newest acquisition. "A great acquisition. Now we're missing a great player in attack. Quagliarella? That was more of an act of love and kindness for a neapolitan that needed to leave Napoli and we know why. It was a form of compensation. Monday I'll give you another great update for the summer."
