Napoli continue contact for Chelsea's Kepa: the latest

Napoli are working to bring a new goalkeeper and Kepa Arrizabalaga is at the top of the list. The Spanish player is owned by Chelsea, but he lost his starting position to Edouard Mendy and he is looking for a new experience.

 Contact between Napoli and the player's agents are ongoing and agent Canales will be in Milano tomorrow. The two clubs have found an agreement regarding the payment of the salary and the player would be moving on a loan without option to buy.

Chelsea have requested a 1.5 million euro bonus if Napoli make the Round of 16 in Champions League and another 1.5 million if the Azzurri finish in the top 4 in Serie A this season. Napoli have offered a total of 1.5 million for both bonuses: 750,000 for the Champions League and 750,000 for top 4 in Serie A. The proposal was adjusted, but the total remained the same: 1 million for the Round of 16 in the Champions League and 500,000 for top 4 in Serie A.

Napoli are now waiting for Chelsea's response. The two clubs are close in their negotiations, and expecting some news in the coming hours. The alternatives remain PSG's Navas and Eintracht Frankfurt's Trapp.
