Mourinho: "It would be hard for Klopp to lose another Champions League final"
Just over a week away from the UEFA Champions League final between Liverpool and Tottenham, José Mourinho was interviewed by Sky Sports, having his first interview with a British news source since he left Manchester United.
If Jürgen wins, it is an incredible achievement. If Jürgen doesn’t win... to lose three Champions League finals has to be really, really hard. But at this current moment, he is a very positive man and I think he just thinks about winning. Being a manager and understanding what it means for a manager to play in a UEFA Champions League final - there is always a negative side that one team is going to lose.
Spurs have not won titles and to win their first one - the biggest one of all - would be, of course, fantastic. This would mean to win other domestic trophies would be easier because the UEFA Champions League is the biggest one of all,
I think that this is a big match, of course, with huge levels of pressure. We used to say finals are not to just play but finals are to be won.
