Milan ready to offer a new contract to Donnarumma
Gianluigi Donnarumma remains one of Milan's most important players, so with a contract expiring in 2021 and with many eyes around Europe following him, It will be a priority to retain him for the future for the rossonerri. Milan intend to convince Donnarumma to renew his contract with the club, with the owners authorizing the directors to negotitate with him. It could be challenging to make a deal as Donnarumma is currently on wages of €6m after taxes per season. The sides will not be so quick to find agreement on terms. But Milan is ready with an initial offer for an extension, as they intend to convince their goalkeeper to stay.
Milan is not in contact with Thiago Silva, though for the Brazilian a return to the San Siro would be highly desireable. Fiorentina has begun taking initial steps to woo the center back, who will be out of contract with PSG after the season. The rossoneri's directors have not yet shown their interest in getting involved.
