Milan, Rangnick: "Is the club happy about their results compared with the money they spent?"
Ralf Rangnick spoke to Gazzetta dello Sport about Milan and his proposed move to the Rossoneri: "Pioli deserved being confirmed as manager because of the person he is and that he is focused on the objectives. If it was the right choice in the medium to long term is another question. I don't know Boban or Maldini and I don't want to pass judgement, but is the club happy about their results when compared to the money they spent in the last few years? Milan contacted me in October when they were close to the relegation zone. They wanted to change things when they wanted me. It is not my style to depend on players like Ibra and Kjaer not because they aren't strong players, as the Swede is worldclass, but because I prefer to generate value and young talent. This is only my idea. Milan only has to look 30 km away to Atalanta on how to improve. They have one-third of Milan's revenue and look where they have arrived. Also, they have Gasperini, where the club learn a lot from, as well from Conte on the side of the city."
