Milan hopes to continue their winning ways both in Serie A and Europa League, as they take on Sampdoria tomorrow in league play. Manager Stefano Pioli spoke with the press prior to the match.

"It will be a difficult game, they're a well-managed team. I have great admiration for Ranieri, he was important for my professional growth because he gave me clear concepts. I cheered for him when he was in England at Leicester. Are we like them? It's not impossible to repeat, it happened to Verona and Sampdoria, but we're just at the beginning. We are only thinking about tomorrow's match. There's no need to rise tension, I am happy that on Thursday we recovered with our behavior. There's still a lot to do, but we want to be ambitious."

"All the effort helps to obtain success, you cannot do it without sacrifice. Rebic had an injury that took him from his best conditions, he moved well on Thursday but wasn't helped enough. I hope he returns to scoring soon. With every player I try and be direct, when you speak from the heart you are heard. I told Ibrahimovic that it would not be right to interrupt what we had began and to think about it a lot. The management would do everything to keep him."
