Milan, Gazidis set to become executive director in September
These are important days for Milan as they set up their new organizational chart after Elliott officially took over ownership of the club. After Fassone and Mirabelli were let go, the new executive director will be Ivan Gazidis. Gazidis currently holds the same role with Arsenal. The South African (with an English passport as well) is set to takeover the role in September, according to what has been reported by Peppe Di Stefano of Sky Sport. Gazidis will be head of the financial operation of the club and will be Elliott's trusted man within the organization. His arrival does not exclude that of Umberto Gandini, who will also join the club as a vice-executive director. His role will mainly be to head the political relations of the club and be their representative to UEFA, Lega Calcio and the FIGC.
