Milan, Gattuso's comments after the derby: "Inter played better, they deserved more. My contract? I am sure that I will continue, I have to make the most of this opportunity."
Milan drew against Inter today in a crucial match for their Champions League aspirations, and Gennaro Gattuso spoke to Sky after the match: "We must be objective, Inter played better than us. In terms of quality we took a step back but tactically I liked my team's performance. We definitely had some chances but it is Inter who deserved more. Champions League? I am thinking about improving this squad mentally, tactically and technically and then we'll see where we end up. We still aren't at our best. I expect us to play cleaner, too many times we need the attacker to help develop the play. When the midfielders play too straight I don't like it too much. Inter moves well but the important thing for us today was not to lose, two defeats in a row is a boulder. We could have done better, I know what we did wrong and what we can do better. My contract? I spoke with the club my contract will come but it is not a priority. It is a difficult task as I feel pressure to bring this club back to where it deserves. I am sure that I will continue, it is up to me to make the most of this opportunity. I believe in the seriousness of my staff, the club and my players. Then when it is over we'll see how I did."
