Milan, Gattuso ahead of Juventus: "My future? It's here."
Milan are desperate to defend fourth place in the standings, but things won't be easy for them as they are set to face Juventus at the Allianz Stadium tomorrow. Gennaro Gattuso spoke ahead of the match: "To be fourth place is an important fact, but we must think about the present. After the derby we are struggling and we have not returned to victory, we must undertand why. I hear a lot of chatter, I hear the words of Leonardo and Maldini, but there is absolutely nothing in that: here we must only think about bringing this team back to the Champions League. With Leonardo there are no problems: we are very good on a professional level. RIght now there is only one problem, that is to return to winning."
"The match against Juve tomorrow can give us an extra boost mentally. We tried several options for tomorrow's game, we have to field a team that gives us certain guarantees. There is still a bit of nervousness but it can also be a positive aspect. Injuries? History teaches us that Milan always rises in moments of difficulty. The derby game was crucial but that's in the past now. We have to focus on the games at hand and retrun to our performance of the recent months. Kessie trained with the group. Romagnoli had a slight fever but he was present during training. Conti will be back in the squad next week. Paqueta will take a while to recover while Donnarumma should be back within a week or so."
"I believe a game like this against Juve can give us the necessary energy to conclude the season well, we need to rekindle that spark. If we put in a good performance and get a good result in Turin it could be a turning point for us. Future? I still have a two-year contract after the game tomorrow. My future is here and my aim is to reach our intended objectives."
