Milan, from Duarte to Leao: who are the potential new additions

The first is a strong defender currently at Flamengo, someone who played every minute of the recent Copa Libertadores. While the second is a striker at Lille, who won the Under 17 European cup with Portugal back in 2016.

Leo Duarte and Rafael Leao, two players linked to Milan who could reinforce Marco Giampaolo’s squad.

According to Il Tempo, the Brazilian defender is very close to joining the rossoneri for a fee of €11 million. Duarte was born in ‘96 and he exploded in the last few months, he surpassed Rever and Rhodolfo in the pecking order.

Duarte is 183 centimeters tall and he has improved his skills in the air and on 1 on 1s, he has recently been scouted by Brazil’s manager Tite, his idol is former Roma defender Juan and is very close to Vinicius now at Real Madrid.

While Duarte is the name for the defense, for the attack we have Rafael Leao. According to RMC in France, Milan have taken a decisive step in the race to acquire him for a fee of around €35 million with Tiago Djalo, valued at 5 million, joining Lille as part of the deal.
