Milan-Empoli, Antonelli deal in final stages: player expected to undergo medical today

Milan wing-back Luca Antonelli has trained for the last time at Milanello today as he is set to sign for newly-promoted Empoli. The 31-year-old could undergo the medical with his new club in the next few hours, or tomorrow morning at the latest, before penning a 3-year deal with Empoli. Antonelli, who spent three season with a Milan shirt, is ready to move on and get some playing time with his new squad.
