Milan makes an attempt for Mateo Kovacic. The Croatian class of '94 is much appreciated by Milan as a potential midfield reinforcement. There was a contact today between Galliani and Florentino Perez.
Milan would be ready to bring Kovacic back to Italy on a loan with option to buy. This was the formula Galliani proposed to Perez, despite the great relationship between the two clubs, the response was negative: Real Madrid does not want to sell Kovacic under those conditions after the big investment made. At the moment the situation is blocked but Milan could try again in the next few days.
