Milan considering Castillejo at winger position: the situation

Milan are pondering options at the offensive winger position and have now set their sights on a new target. Samu Castillejo has a lot in common with Suso, he’s left footed and likes to come down from the right wing- he also share a similar body type to Milan’s current Spanish winger.

Castillejo has established himself in the past few years at Villarreal, where last season he scored six goals to go with seven assists- he joins Napoli’s Callejón as a target for the winger position. Milan have to also negotiate with Villarreal to decide Carlos Bacca’s future, it’s not out of the question the Colombian striker and Castillejo’s transfers end up being tied together.

A lot will also depend on Suso’s future. The former Liverpool winger has an exit clause, should he leave, Milan could replace him with Castillejo.
