Milan-Calhanoglu: sides close to agreement on an extension

Milan and Hakan Calhanoglu are close to completing an agreement after a flurry of talks during Tuesday morning between the player (alone without his agent) at club headquarters to discuss the extension. On Sunday evening after the win against Roma there was a very positive talk with Gazidis and today the closing seems ever closer. The figures were not discussed, but there is a small difference between the request and offer which could be solved with easily reached objectives for the player.

The deal is not finalized, however Calhanolgu is close to agreeing with the deal, albeit requring a compromise over his wages. But there has been substantial progress compared to a week ago, and his future seems more likely to be at Milan.
