Milan, Bennacer: "Impossible to refuse Milan. I'm very excited to start playing."

The best player of this year's African Cup, champion with Algeria, Ismael Bennacer was one of the biggest summer signings of Marco Giampaolo's Milan. "It's a great honor being here," said the player during his first interview as a rossonero.

"I don't know what to say other than I'm really excited. We're talking about a club with one of the most important histories in the world. When Milan calls, you can only accept. It's impossible to say no."

On the African Cup final against Senegal, which brought Algeria their first African Cup title since 1990: "Up until three years ago, I wasn't playing with the national team. I trained a lot and had patience. I wasn't expecting all of this, but it's fantastic. I cannot wait to start. I'll give everything for the fans and this shirt."
