Mati Fernandez: "Montella was giving me a hard time for coming here injured. It is a dream to be at Milan."
Mati Fernandez is bursting out to finally make an impact at Milan, after an injury derailed his earlier season. Speaking to Milan TV, the midfielder, who debuted in the win against Palermo, gave his thoughts. "I am so happy for my debut at Milan, especially because it came in a win. It's a dream to play here. How am I feeling? I can still be doing much better physically, because for two months I didn't train, so I need to work for that. Montella was giving me a hard time because I showed up already injured. He has always worked hard, though. And he is keeping on going. In football you have to evolve yourself and he's done that too. All of us are working and training together, and he is the one who decides who plays."
