Marchisio signs with FC Zenit Saint Petersburg: the details

After a farewell to Juventus for the end of a 25-year tenure with the club, Claudio Marchisio will start again from Russia with FC Zenit Saint Petersburg. His transfer to the current Russian Premier League leaders has now been made official, as stated in the profiles of the club: he will sign a two year contract.

"Benvenuto Claudio" reads the Zenit tweet; after defender Domenico Criscito returned to Italy to play with Genoa this summer, they will immediately welcome another Italian, this time in the 1986 born midfielder.
