Deal done. Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United has got its first reinforcement. The player in discussion is Eric Bertrand Bailly. Bailly is a twenty-two year old, Ivorian defender from Villareal who will be arriving on a four year deal with an option for two more.
The price paid for the player is 32 million euros plus 8 million performance related bonuses. Meanwhile Bailly has already displayed his joy and excitement for this new adventure: “I want to become the best and working with Jose Mourinho can help me grow the right way. I’m in the right club. I can’t wait to meet my teammates and begin this new chapter of my life.”
