Manchester City, Laporte's clause has been paid: player on his way to Manchester

"On the 29 of January 2018, la Liga has certified to our club that Aymeric Laporte has seen fulfilled all the requirements for the resolution of his employment contract that bound him to our club. The document quoted signals that the player has shown the will to resolve, unilaterally, the contract that bound him to the Athletic Club since the 09/10 season, and certificates the payment of the compensation established in the contract. Athletic Club thank the player for the contribute he gave during his time at the club". With that statement, the Spanish side has made official the payment of the €65m clause for the defender Aymeric Laporte, on his way to Manchester City. The player is in a flight at the moment, ready to begin his new adventure with Pep Guardiola. The Citizens should officialize it tomorrow.
