Maldini:”The worst has passed, this virus will change us”

The news that Paolo Maldini and his son Daniel tested positive for the Coronavirus was revealed a few days ago. The two spent time isolated in their home recovering from the symptoms, but it all started with a slight fever that forced the Milan director to not attend the match against Genoa on March 8th. Maldini described what he went through in a recent interview with Corriere della Sera:"The worst has passed. I still have a dry cough, it was like a flu but worse. I know my body as does any athlete. I lost the sense of taste and smell, I hope they return. The pain is particularly sharp, you feel your chest tightening"

The virus will likely change our habits:"Sensible people will reavaluate their relationship to others. Things that we took for granted, like dining with friends and hugging a loved one, now we miss all of this very much and tomorrow we'll appreciate them more"
