Lyon, Garcia: "The violin stayed in Italy. Stopping CR7 will be a team effort."

Lyon manager Rudi Garcia spoke with Corriere dello Sport prior to his team's Champions League match against Juventus. The former Roma manager touched on his experiences in Italy, especially a certain violin he played while facing Juve.

"The violin was left in the dresser when I left Italy. It came to me instinctively, I wanted to defend my team from when I still think was something wrong. But these are things that happen on the pitch."

On Cristiano Ronaldo: "You stop him at the border, if he decides that he doesn't like Lyon and doesn't want to play here. Jokes aside, you can contain with a team-effort defensively. It's useless to cage him if you must leave space to Dybala or Higuain. I'll say to everyone that it's a challenge. This must be the motivation. Also for me. Will Juve win the Champions League? I don't know. But I know that it's their priority, after many scudetti. I don't believe that Ronaldo came to Juve just to win in Italy."
