New reinforcement arriving for Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool, coming from Germany is Joel Matip. The Cameroonian center-back who is also a naturalized German will move to England and strengthen Klopp’s defense. The reds had snatched the player on a free transfer last February, now he has terminated his adventure at Gelsenkirchen and has flown to Liverpool. Announcing his arrival at Anfield was the reds themselves, with a message on their official website: “Joel Matip has officially become a Liverpool player, today he completed the standard medical exams. The center-back can now begin his new adventure, after terminating his contract with his previous club, Schalke”.
