Leipzig aren't giving up on Schick: preparing another offer for Roma

Leipzig are not giving up on Patrik Schick. The German club did not pick up the option to buy the player outright when it expired on June 15. RB Leipzig manager Julian Nagelsmann clarified: "We can't pay the requested fee, but we are negotiating with Roma." In fact, Leipzig are preparing a new offer for the Giallorossi, with an alternative formula which could be a loan with an obligation to buy. Roma have been requesting 29 million euros and it remains to be seen how they will respond to Leipzig's offer. The German club would like to keep Schick especially as Chelsea officially signed Timo Werner.
