Leicester, Vardy:"I'm still the person I've always been, I'm trying not to radically change my life"
When we look back to 2016 it's inevitable to remember Leicester City shocking the world by winning the Premier League. Along with their manager Claudio Ranieri, James Vardy was arguably the most iconic figure on the team, this is what the striker told Gazzetta dello Sport about how his life has changed:"I'm trying not to make any radical changes. I'm still the person from some time ago, but it's inevitable that some things change. I'm forced to safeguard my privacy more, to stay home, but my reference points are still the same: family and friends. When did we start believing we could win? We certainly tried to take it a day at a time at the beginning of the adventure. The time we realized we could accomplish something memorable was the day of the 3 to 1 against Manchester City, if we have to pick a match that symbolizes the season that would be it"
