Lecce-Yilmaz, ongoing negotiation for Turkish striker

After their recent promotion to Serie A following a seven year absence from Italy’s top league, Lecce have ambitious plans. The club’s sporting director Meluso continues to pursue Burak Yilmaz, the Turkish striker reached an agreement with Lecce and his entourage is now working to get Besiktas to let him go on a free transfer.

Lecce will meet with Yilmaz’ agent Oakan Dogan this afternoon to get an update and try to complete the deal.
