Lecce in discussions for Cagliari midfielder Ionita

Liverani's Lecce club is beginning to look to strengthen the squad. With seven results in their past eight Serie A matches, the giallorossi have identified their top objectives for the winter transfer market.

After Giulio Donati, who will be joining Sticchi Damiani's club in the next few hours, the club is interested in Cagliari's Artur Ionita. The discussions between the two clubs have already started and, next Saturday, the player's agent Alessandro Beltrami will be in Brescia to attend the Lecce-Brescia match. The formula of the operation is yet to be defined, but Lecce sees Ionita as a solution for their team.
