Lazio strongly considering Gattuso as next coach, Fiorentina's search continues on

The future of current Napoli coach Gennaro Gattuso could see him moving north to Lazio, president Lotito is making a strong push to lure him there. There is hesitation as talks with Fiorentina have not concluded yet.

As revaled on Sunday's Sky Calcio Show, Gattuso is the preferred choice for the biancocelesti to replace Simone Inzaghi who could be moving on as his contract has not been extended, while he could receive important offers from other clubs this summer.

Gattuso and Lazio already have had initial contacts, but Rino first needs to decide whether to allow Fiorentina's advances to continue. Owner Commisso is pressing for his choice, already having given over guarantees over building out the squad. Gattuso is feeling doubts given that Lotitio and he share sympathies.

In the meantime, Fiorentina is looking at its list of alternatives, which contains names such as Fonseca, Garcia, and Juric. At the moment la viola are deciding to take time until the end of the season to make a decision on their next coach.
